APIC Candidates
Certification is not required to run for APIC Office. However, certifications earned will be included as part of the scoring element of the application.
CBIC Candidates
Certification is required to serve on the CBIC Board of Directors. Candidates must have either the CIC, LTC-CIP or a-IPC.
Eligibility
APIC members in the Professional, Lifetime and New to the Profession membership categories are eligible to run for office. Candidates for the position of President-Elect must have previously served on the APIC Board of Directors.
