CMS Updates Guidance for COVID-19 HCP Vaccination Rule Following Supreme Court Decision

1/14/22 — Following the January 13 Supreme Court decision upholding the CMS Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination interim final rule, CMS updated its guidance and survey procedures for assessing and maintaining compliance with these regulatory requirements. This guidance specifically applies to the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming. This guidance does not apply to Texas, where a preliminary injunction is still in effect. All other state have already been complying with the rule. Read the updated guidance.
