Group Training Formats
ASC & Ambulatory Settings Intensive
This intensive three-day instructor-led course covers the fundamental components of IPC in Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Outpatient clinics/services, including risk assessment, how to develop an effective IPC program to protect patients, accrediting and regulatory compliance, and the evidence-based best practices that improve patient, staff, and facility safety. Available in In-Person or Virtual Instructor-Led formats.
a-IPC™ Certification Preparation
This course is designed for individuals seeking added comprehension of content, greater support, and additional guidance as they prepare to take the a-IPC™ exam, that is administered by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC). Also available is the one-day a-IPC™ Power Prep alternative course option for those who require or prefer less guidance.
CIC® Certification Preparation
This three-day workshop includes guidance and support from a CIC®-certified instructor(s) and access to the APIC Learning System for CIC. You will be able to identify your areas of strength and build on them, while also pinpointing areas where you need further study in preparation for the CIC® exam, that is administered by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC). Also available is the one-day CIC® Power Prep alternative course option for those who require or prefer less guidance.
EPI® Intensive
This four-day In-Person or Virtual Instructor-Led intensive training course covers essential training and competency-building in infection prevention and control (IPC) for healthcare professionals in acute care. You will learn evidence-based best practices to develop an effective IPC program to protect patients, reduce risk, and comply with accrediting and regulatory requirements.
LTC-CIP® Certification Preparation
The three-day LTC-CIP® Certification Preparation course provides a standardized measure of the basic knowledge, skills, and abilities expected of professionals working in the field. This course is designed for individuals seeking added comprehension of content, and additional guidance as they prepare to take the LTC-CIP® exam, that is administered by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC). Also available is the one-day LTC-CIP® Power Prep course option for those who require or prefer less guidance.
Long-Term Care Infection Preventionist Essentials
Managing infection prevention and control (IPC) in long-term care settings presents a unique set of challenges and issues. This three-day In-Person or Virtual Instructor-Led course provides the foundation required for the role of the infection preventionist (IP) and the practice(s) of being an effective IP in a long-term care setting. This course also covers Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) required topics. Attendance all days is required to earn all available CNE credits.
Fundamentals of Infection Prevention for Public Health
This course is designed for public health practitioners with 0-2 years of experience and without a clinical background, non-clinician industry partners, and individuals looking for a foundational course in infection prevention and control (IPC) as a steppingstone toward the a-IPC™ certification.
