APIC Scholarship Program for Professional Development
The APIC Scholarship for Professional Development Program helps APIC members in need of financial assistance to manage the costs associated with critical professional development. Funds assist infection preventionists pursuing APIC professional development and education programs such as the CIC, LTC-CIP, and a-IPC credentials.

What’s included?
Who is eligible to apply?
- Individuals who have been members of APIC for the last full continuous year without any lapses or interruptions.
- APIC members who have no other financial support for certification.
- Individuals must understand the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) eligibility criteria.
- With the one year access to the learning system, you should be prepared to take the exam within that one year period (i.e., by October 31, 2025). No extensions will be granted after that date. Applicants who take the exam prior to acceptance into the program will be ineligible for reimbursement through the program.
